Dilemma
Are we forever stuck waiting for the end of the world?
what looms more scarey than the end of the world?
I can’t look backward I can’t look straight
seemingly stuck in a bend in the world
It made sense at first but flipped over to mad
how easy it was to upend the world
My intentions are good, my interest strong
so what have I done to offend the world?
All my hopes, my ideas and dreams
were dutifully, obediently pinned to the world…
but it isn’t my program and it isn’t my code:
on the laptop of life should I unfriend the world?
